IMAPIX is a tool usefull for land planning with soil occupation cartography for urban, agricol or forest areas. It is also helpfull for oceanography.



The software runs with digital images from satellites, map digitization, video digitization.

	IMAPIX is used in a wide range of studies as layout of urban areas, road system, management of forests, management of agriculture, management of ressources in developping countries (desertification, deforestation). It is also usefull for oceanography to cartography fishing areas or for coastal monitoring and also for geology, biosphere monitoring, climatology...
