ACRI-ST is an independant R&D
company based in Sophia-Antipolis, France. ACRI-ST's experience
relevant to Earth observation and the environment extends
from remote sensing (system requirements, analysis and ground
segment design, mission operation) to theoretical and numerical
fluid dynamics, geophysics and ocean modeling. ACRI-ST
carries out studies, expertises, trainings and environmental
informations services (www.enviport.com).
The European
commission as well as the french government cofinance a part
of ACRI-ST research. Research financed with internal
fundings assures the maintenance of ACRI-ST's expertise
as a high technology company and allows national and international
collaborations with renowned research centres such as the
CNRS, INRIA and the JCR. The results are exploited through
publications, patents, education (seminars, advanced education
instruction, masters and Ph.D students hosting) and by the
development of new decision support tools.
ACRI-ST
activities are in the fields of:
- Earth observation
(design and development of spatial system simulators .......)
- Environment (air quality, water quality, atmosphere, coastal
zones, hydrodynamics and coastal engineering, geophysics,
hydrodynamics...)
ACRI-ST
belongs to the group ACRI
composed of 3 subsidiary companies:
- ACRI-ST:
research and development on earth sciences, applied mathematics,
and numerical modeling of environment;
- ACRI-IN: industrial
studies, civil engineering and coastal engineering;
- GENIMAR:
laboratory specialised in coastal and naval hydrodynamics,
and model workroom;
