ACRIST Tools

ACRIST has developed several tools for the commissioning phase of the ENVISAT MERIS and GOMOS instruments.

Among others, a number of tools have been developed under IDL. They allow to extract any parameter from any product (measurement or auxiliary) for the two instruments; this tool could be extended to other instruments of the ENVISAT platform.

For both instruments you will find here the description of the functions that allow retrieving any parameter.

Several specific tools (SUN Solaris executables and scripts) have been collected in a GOMOS toolbox package. This toolbox allows to extract/visualise/edit any field of the GOMOS products.

For MERIS you may also retrieve data in geophysical units from the PDS products, or from any L1 intermediate file or L2 intermediate file. You will also be able to generate a MERIS Child product, visualise a MERIS Browse product, check the coherence of a MERIS Level 0 product, and visualise any MERIS product.
