ACRIST Tools |
MEGS Level 2 Forward Model tools :
AddTrhowToMom_new : produces a Top Of Atmosphere reflectance map taking into account both the atmospheric and the maritime signal, or a water leaving reflectance map following the MOM format (archived on CDROM). These data must thenafter be translated with the momNodes (see below) tool to be processed through the prototype. This tool is now obsolete, please use TOAModel instead.
merisConv : produces a file following the MERSS maps format from a MERIS Level 1 or Level 2 product..
MomToMerss : generates from a MOM file with radiance or reflectance values a MERSS compatible file (ltmub.txt file to import in MERSS to produce a ltmub.iom file).
momNodes : creates a file compatible with the MEGS pixel-to-pixel mode using both a MOM file and a 3-column ASCII file giving the 3 angles for each pixel (using coordinates relative to the MOM grid or actual values in degrees)
OceanTdsMom : produces from a MOM file (with either reflectance or radiance values) a MERIS Level 1 product.
SimulMeris : performs the capabilities of both the MomToMerss and oceanTdsMom tools - in addition it allows to take into account the position on a map to compute radiances above land or water, and it also takes into account pressure and ozone values retrieved from ECMWF files.
solflux computes the solar flux
in any band using a file giving band definitions - flux values are adjusted
taking into account the date.
RefModel : computes the water leaving reflectances using the ref_model and iop_model functions, or using the PML look-up tables.
TOAModel : computes the water Top Of Atmosphere reflectances using external ASCII tables or the tables from the MEGS prototype.
AerosolTau : computes the aerosol optical thickness values for the MERIS bands using external ASCII tables or the tables from the MEGS prototype.
AbsorptionBands : modifies the values on the absorption bands (760.625 and 900 nm) from a MOM file and saves them into a MOM file.
ref2rad : computes reflectance values from radiance
values on the MERIS bands.
