Below is the kind of display that you may get with the MERISVIEW software :

This MERIS image has been simulated from a MOS image and gives the Chlorophyll 2 concentration estimated with the MEGS software, pixels identified as land or coastline points have been masked. Pixels on the side of the image are also masked because the MOS image did not cover the full width of the MERIS image, therefore the Chlorophyll 2 PCD was raised.
